Hallo

starting from DVSDK 4.03.00.06 for OMAP-L138 I need to rebuild codec engine using custom toolchain.

I followed the instructions described here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Rebuilding_Codec_Engine.

I downloaded Codec_Engine 2.26.02.11 (the same version of the DVSDK)

I get an error:

gmake[1]: *** [package/cfg/bin/ti_platforms_evmOMAPL138/linux/debug/lpmON_xv5T.c] Error 1

I wonder how it could be possible, since the DVSDK is for L138.

how the package distributed with dvsdk was built?

Hi Mastupristi,

Could you try editing the package.bld file in this directory:

codec_engine_2_26_02_11/cetools/packages/ti/bios/power/utils

and comment out this line:

//makeExecutables(progArray, arguments);

That will disable the build of lpmON and lpmOFF.

OK, no more errors.

I wonder what are lpmON and lpmOFF. I suppose I don't need them.

Good, I'm glad to hear it's building now. LPM is the "Local Power Manager", and lpmON and lpmOFF are
utilities for powering on and off the DSP.
