suggestion regarding c6678

Hi,

CCS is an IDE where you can write your code (C/C++ most of the time), compile, build, simulate (depending on the device, but there's a simulator for 6678), debug and download the executalbe to your device.

I would start here, where there informations from installing CCS to running an example code

When you create a project you can use the examples that come with CCS, try them first.

TMS320C6678 page where you can get the datasheet and other stuff.

On page 66 of datasheet you have 2.10 Related Documentation from Texas Instruments, soon or later you will read those, but you don't need to read them to start using 6678. I think the links above are enough to start.
