question about nullLink and nullSrcLink

Hi Ti-friends

By checking the document like DVR_RDK_McFW_Link_API_Training.pdf and the folder under /dvr_rdk/mcfw/interfaces/link_api/, I found nothing description about nullLink and nullSrclink. Could you explain this more detail? Or provide document about this?

NullSrc: This link runs on VPSS M3 and generates black frames at the configured fps. It is used to simulate a capture link

NullLink: This link runs on VPSS M3 and frees any received frames without any processing. This link is used to terminate a chain where you don't want the output of a link queue to be used for any purpose.In this case you will connect the output queue of the link to a nullLink.

Both of these links are for debug purpose and are mostly not useful in real applications.

Hi Badri,
I have a question about nullSrcLink.
You say that this generates black frames but is it possible to change the color ?
I want to use it for generating patterns color test.

Hi Nicolas,
Yes, you can change the color by updating the "fillDataPattern" function. You can fill the frame buffer with any color/content.
