ASP slots shifting problem DM6446

Hi,

I am using the Audio Serial Port for transferring data between two DM6446 chips. The problem is that after some amount of data has been transferred the ASP slots appear to be shifted. The amount of shift usually varies between 1 to 3 slots. If, for example, the shift is of 1 slot, the first slot transmitted in the frame would appear as the second slot in the received frame, the last slot would become the first slot of the next frame and so on. I am using 16 bit ASP slots, 20 slots per ASP frame, and the time duration of each frame is 125 microseconds. I am using EDMA in a ping pong configuration for servicing the ASP. Any help would be appreciated.

Please note that I am already following the guidelines mentioned in sprz241n sections 2.1.3 and 2.1.5.
