Hi TI,

I'm working on DM385(TI81xx) Processor, I want to port WinCE on this customized board.

and i'm new to wince. can you clarify following things to me.

1) Hardware and Software requirements.

2) whether platform BSP support is available for DM81xx, if it available give details.

3) Give some detail info. on Platform builder installation procedure.

Hello Ramappa,

AFAIK there is no official support for WinCE on the DM385 and DM81xx platforms (there are several respective Linux based BSPs that are recommended here); so customers that want WinCE should struggle to implement it by themselves, but I am personally not sure that this is recommended.

You could contact your nearest TI local field engineer and discuss with him/her your application in order to determine the most suitable platform/software.

Ramappa,

WINCE is available for AM387x platforms which is similar to DM81xx platforms. You can use this as a reference BSP to create your own BSP for DM385. If you are not familiar with WINCE, then it will be tough to do the bringup.
