Behaviour of DM355 PWM ports during the initialization

Hi,

DM355 PWM ports (such as C2) seems to be Hi-Z during the device H/W initialization.

Are there any methods that keep the ports "LO" during the initialization?

I want to avoid the obstacle current during the power on sequence and the reboot sequence.

Tetsuoma,

You can see whether its possible to configure the pin through PINMUX. If available, you can add the PINMUX setting in the UBL start code.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I've checked the features of PINMUX registers.

I'm afraid it does assign the port functions but does not change the Hi-Z status during boot sequence.

Testuoma,

If you can configure the same pin as GPIO, then you'll be able to a high or low on the output pins. That way you can avoid Hi-Z state.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

I've discussed it with my colleagues.

If we can do your procedure before the Linux starts (such as in "Boot loader"), we might be able to avoid the problem.

We have to set the port to GIO first, then change it to PWM before the application starts.

We would like to check the possibility.
