OMAP 4470 camera

ISS subsystem and AUXCLK are gated when camera is not running. M3 clocks are also gated when no video/camera usecase is running. The clocks are activated when application starts preview and therefore working current is expected to increase.

The platform is omap4470 ,but the platform of omap4430  the increase in working current of 200 mA when open the camera application preview.

The ducati version(2.1) of the same, and the code version(4AI.1.7P1) of the same .

There can be optimized space?

Are you testing the same camera sensor and same preview resolution on 4470 and 4430?

The same camera sensor (ov5640), the preview resolution is VGA .

The platform 4470 of LCD(1920x1200) is 10.1 inch , the platform 4430 of LCD(1280x600) 7inch.

maybe it is the display which is drawing more power. Can you test movie playback with same video stream on both the boards and compare the current?

The result is the same as you suspect.

The omap4470 platform when playing the video voltage is increased to 300 mA, the omap4430 platform of the voltage increase of 200 mA.
