DSK C6713 static read through EMIF

Dear TI,

I would like to use EMIF interface as a source of configuration info for my DSK C6713 board. There will be a circuit setting up values on the card attached via EMIF.

I know that to enable write to EMIF I need to ground some pins in the peripheral daughter card connector. Is it the same with the read?

    Piotr,

    Yes, the daughtercard interface must be enabled before it can be used for either reads or writes. The TechRef and schematics that are supplied by the board vendor are the best documents to figure out the correct pins and polarity for making this connection.

    I recommend you purchase a daughtercard prototyping board for doing this work. They are reasonably priced and available from vendors online. Do an internet search for "dsk daughtercard prototype board" (no quotes) or search this forum for "activating DSK6713" (no quotes) for more information.
