TMS320C6748 Custom Board detection problem

Hi,

We have a custom board with TMS320C6748 processor.

When i connect board with CCS v4.2 using JTAG emulator Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator then it will load gel file then error will occur.

I attatch the snapshoot of error.

Please guide us in this regard.

Hello Rana,

The error indicates no CPU clock. Have you checked to see if you are getting an output from the crystal?

yes i have check the clock and it is available

O.K.

Since this is a custom board, do you have some kind of EVM or other development kit?

Is everything working correctly with the same firmware installed on the EVM or DK?

yes i have check my board and the voltages for pll0 and pll1 are not available and some changes done in gel file so now my board is working fine.

Could you share your gel file, and kindly tell me what you changed .? because i too have a same problem. so that i will get solution from yours.

In gel file i Will comment the DDR2 initialization.
