pandaboard es first time flash

for first time flashing on panda board ,it gives me message like below

Could not read bootloader!

X-Loader hangs

As i used 4A1 1.7 pre build binaries and

i have created 3 partition as give mkcard.sh v 5.0

boot

media

rootfs

i copied MLO and U-boot.bin file in boot partitions.

then i connect the sd card in panda board and try to flash but i get above error massage.

please some one explain me the procedure for first time flash for panda board es and what is the meaning of above error message

Hi Madhav,

For first time flash you need only two partitions: boot and rootfs. You can find here how you can format your card. http://omappedia.org/wiki/Android_Build_SD_Configuration. I used "omap3-mkcard.sh" script successfully. After that you need to copy only MLO and u-boot.bin on the boot partition to enter in fastboot mode. From there you can do full flash. Don't forget to format it again using "./fastboot oem format".
