With reference to the link below that shows how to connect the side band signals of the Hyperlink,

May I know if we need to connect up the 22Ohm resistors to those side band signals like how they are connected in the C6678 Evaluation board?
If so, what are they used for and which part of the C6678 document describes this connection? Should they be placed closer to the receiving side? Both my DSPs are very close each other on the same board.
