C6678 communicate with DM8168 through PCIe

Hi,

I have a 6678EVM board , AMC-PCIe adapter card and DM8168EVM board, TI provide ubuntu desktop-linux-sdk and mcsdk_video_xxx package  based on the the pc machine, which can achieve the communication  between pc machine and 6678 through  AMC-PCIe adapter card .Now, I  want to use 8168EVM board instead of a PC to execute ./init_dsp.sh and the other operation on 8168.

1.Can it possible to achieve?
2.If it can achieve, how to cross-compile desktop-linux-sdk correctly?
3.If it can not be achieved, is there any other examples can achieve   transfer image files from 8168PCIe to 6678 and let 6678 run?

  • Hello,

For DM816x device, you can use EZSDK 5.05.02.00 (latest), available to download from http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/ezsdk/latest/index_FDS.html

For which PCIe modes of operations are supported in the DM816x EZSDK (which includes PSP), check the following documents:
