Hi All

Iam working on beagle board audio ...i want to test a audio file which are present in media/audio/file .i dont have an lcd where i can click i play.i need to run from the command line .Can anyone help me with commands .what all commands i need to use to play.

Hi Ranjith,

I have some short instruction for playing an audio file via the command line:

Rescanning the sdcard for newly pushed files:
$ adb shell am broadcast -a android.intent.action.MEDIA_MOUNTED -d "file:///mnt/sdcard"
Playing an audio file using the audio player:
$ adb shell am start -n com.android.music/.MediaPlaybackActivity -d /mnt/sdcard/music.mp3

There command are used if you are using abd shell. If you are using console use "am .......".
