dsplib performance problem

Im using dsplib3.0.0.7 to test performance on evm6678, but after importing the projects, the optimized program performs just like the original c code. I just copied programs to create a new project, they worked all right. What coused this problem?　Why the program performs differently under ccs install and workspace folder?

    Yu Fei,

    Please describe in greater detail what steps you took in each case and what the measurements were in each case. It is not clear enough yet to know how to duplicate or to analyze your situation.

    You may get different results with the latest version. The MCSDK 02_01_02_05 includes dsplib_c66x_3_1_0_0. I recommend you upgrade to that latest version.

    At first I just debug the example project without any editing. But the performance is no good.

    second I copied the program to create a new project, changed nothing in program. The result performs as expected.

    Yu Fei,

    If I understand correctly, you did something with some example project and did not get some result that you expected from some documentation.

    Then you were able to work with the same program code in your new project and got the results that you expected.

    It seems you have satisfactory results, so all is good.

    Because there is no information to allow someone else to duplicate your procedure, other than to re-run every possible test case on the older release of DSPLIB, our very practical reply is to be pleased that you have the DSPLIB working as you expect it to work. And you have accomplished this using your own ingenuity and experience, for which we are grateful.
