Need some help with following questions for a senior design project

Using TI AM335X microcontroller in a senior design. In my project, i need to deploy an application on AM335X microcontroller. 

Questions are as follow:

  1. Can I use eclipse, and not code composer?
  2. When I plug microcontroller in computer, there are three drivers: 2 of them are xds100 V2 and one is Android ADB. All three are installed in windows pc. When I try to deploy an application, it is not showing android running device connected to PC operating system provided by TI.
