We bought 1 year ago dm816x reference board.
now our next plan is machine vision frame grabber board using high resolution camera link interface but I saw searching other post on e2e.ti.com that said about this case choose dm814x cause has Imaging SubSystem better than dm816x.
more questions because we will going decide on dm814x chipset.
- dm816x chipset dont support camera link interface. this case must use dm814x. is it right?
- why use FPGA with dm814x. is it must or not? if must use, what kind of purpose? only control camera link interface? convert YUV to RGB format? or noise reduction?
- We have to convert YUV422 to RGB555 for GUI application on ARM Linux OS. Is this possible on dm814x performance for base, medium, full configuration of camera link interface received later convert to memory?
