We use the OMAP3530 processor to generate NTSC/PAL video.
As we can see, the OMAP3530 output signal is not compliant with NTSC or PAL video standard.
We intend to design the constant gain amplifier to increase video output signal.
The problem is that the signal synchronization events amplitude from OMAP3530 is varying among different chips, usually it's about 200mV, but for some chips it is lower than 150mV.
Is it normal?
If yes, what is the signal synchronization (porch) amplitude range variance among different chips?
What is the synchronization amplitude drift over full temperature range?
Currently our problem is that we are not sure the constant gain amplifier will do the job. If not, should we implement the AGC solution?
Thanks,
