Linking the chip support library with the DSP/BIOS configuration file

Do you know how to get my .tcf configuration file to display the chip support library? I have already downloaded the chip support library for the 5500 DSP (my DSP is from a c5510 DSK kit) from the Texas instruments website but am unable to get it to display when I open the .tcf file. Thanks

    Hi Bill,

     

    I use CSL myself. I assume you use Code Composer Studio? I use v5.3.0. What you have to do is to add the directory of where you installed CSL to you're includes in you're compiler properties like:


    In the include options of the compiler properties, add the path to where you installed you're CSL headers, so the include directory.

     

    In the 'File search path' of the linker properties add the directory where you have your 'lib' file of CSL to the 'Add <dir> to library search path'.
