Greetings. I am trying to understand more about the HLOS side of the Keystone II devices (we're looking at the K2H to be specific). Some questions:

1) I've seen discussions on preliminary development of the Keystone II Linux kernel. What is the status of Keystone II Linux kernel development?

2) What is the projected size of the Keystone II Linux kernel? Assuming this dictates the required Flash necessary in HW design.

3) How will communications between the ARM and DSPs be handled from the ARM Linux point of view?

Hi, Justin,

Keystone II Linux kernel is based on Linux kernel 3.6 and it is in alpha release now. It is in the process to rebase at 3.8. The kernel size is 3.17MB. The communication between ARM and DSP should be similar to other TI products.

Keystone II MCSDK is targeted at the end of May, 2013.
