Removing noise from a video

Hey,

I have VM3224K which is compatible daughter card to DSK6713. Even it has a LCD screen. I am able to connect a camera and see output on LCD screen. So now my project is to feed a noisy video and remove noise. So can any1 give me some reference code / algorithm for removing noise?

Hi Naveena,

TI provides video codecs for its devices some of which may in-turn includes the noise filtering algorithm as well.

Few Image and Video processing libraries ( VICP) are given at the below link. Check whether it helps!.

And also go to TI.com and search for "VICP engine" ( no quotes)
