The best way to develop on most TI DSP based development platforms is in the Code Composer studio environment. There latest version of Code composer studio is version 5.x but since you are using an old platform, you might need to check what version of CCS on which the software stack for the platform is built. Most software can be easily ported from earlier versions of CCSv 3.3/ CCSv4 to CCSv5

Is this driver issue?

I have connected the DSK C6711 through the printer port to the pc.
