yaffs2 or ubifs?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide between using yaffs2 or ubifs for a NAND-based filesystem on our embedded board based on the DM8148. Does anyone know of any problems using either one of these with the DM8148? Alternatively, if you have used either one of these long-term or in many devices and would recommend it, I'd be happy to hear that too. We had been using JFFS2, but that seems like it is no longer an option.

Again here is some more info from the developers:

Is there official support for yaffs2?

- Officially no. As we have never tested YAFFS2 on any NAND.
- However, there is no known reason why it should not work, unless it does not satisfy that equation: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Raw_NAND_ECC#Is_it_possible_to_use_any_ECC_algorithm_for_any_NAND.3F

Again YAFFS2 has never been tested.
