Dual EVM Breakout Card

Hi,

I have an Dual EVM Breakout Card with the following info:

 REV: A,  LOGIC: LC_DUAL_EVM_BoC-0002, LOGIC: Rev: 10.1,

If I use tow  TMDXEVM6678L boards, the SRIO works ok.

If I use instead of the two TMDSEVM6678LE boards the SRIO does'n work.

Please, could somebody help me?

Thanks in advance.

Carlos.

  • Carlos,

The Dual EVM BOC can provide reference clocks to the EVMs.  These were not supported in the TMDX EVMs.  Make sure they are disabled and try your test again.

  • Hi Tom,

Please, could you specify what do I need to config or change in the BOC board?

I'm using two  TMDXEVM6678L  Rev 1.0 boards and two TMDSEVM6678LE Rev 3B boards.

I want to emphasize also the following issues:

    1.-  I have four  REV: A,  LOGIC: LC_DUAL_EVM_BoC-0002, LOGIC: Rev: 10.1,

2.- Two of the BOC boards work ok either I connect to them two TMDXEVM6678L boards or two TMDXEVM6678LE boards.

3.- The remaining two BOC boards work ok if I connect to the two TMDXEVM6678L boards, but doesn't work if I connect to them two TMDXEVM6678LE boards.

    Thanks.

    C. Garcia.

  • C. Garcia,

This sounds like a configuration issue.  Please make sure the jumpers on all of the CI2EVMBOC cards match.  I recall there were some issues with the RevA boards whre jumpers could be broken off.  Please refer to the documentation to make sure that they are all present.
