TLV320AIC32 + TMS320C66x

The TLV320AIC32 has two sets of pins, one for the I2S, and one for the I2C. See the below clip from the data sheet:

The C6672 does not have an interface for direct connection to a TLV320AIC32.  You would need an FPGA to connect one of the available interfaces like TSIP or SGMII Ethernet.  The attached white paper describes a method for using TSIP.

I noticed that the C6672 has TSIP interface for serial data interface.

Can I use this TSIP interface for TLV320AIC32 like below diagram?

The white paper provided describes use of FPGA logic to work out the details.  I expect this will be needed.  The TSIP clock must be an input.  Does the AIC device drive clock?  Does the AIC device drive a compliant frame pulse?  Logic will be needed to create the clock and frame pulse.  The data streams may connect directly.  Please post the expected AIC signals and whether they are inputs or outputs.
