Parallel debugging the DSP application in omapl138

Hi,

 I am using OMAPL138,here ARM boots the DSP via DSPLINK .When i try to connect the Jtag XDS100V2 usb emulator to debug the dsp application in CCS V5 i got the error as 

    error connecting to the target: (error -2131 @ 0x0) unable to access device register. reset the device, and retry the operation. if error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable jtag settings (e.g. lower tclk). (emulation package 5.0.520.0)

It will be more helpful if i could do parallel debugging.please help me

    Hi Malini,

    Few questions/suggestions here,

    1. Whether it is a custom board which uses OMAPL138 or OMAPL138 EVM or OMAPL138 LCDK ?

    2. Make sure you use the appropriate GEL file and CCXML configuration file. Have you done the "test connection" with the target  after configuring CCXML?

    3. Have a look at " Debugging JTAG Connectivity Problems"
