Trouble connecting to EVM

Hello,

I am trying to connect to a C6678 evaluation board via JTAG and I’m getting the following error:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -2131 @ 0x0)

Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

(Emulation package 5.0.747.0)

I haven’t had this problem in the past. The only difference is that I’m now using rev.3 of the board. Has anyone ever seen this issue?

Hello Sachan,

Here is a similiar issue for C6678L with rev 3A. The work around is:

start CCS5.

select CCS Debug

launch the standard EVM6678L.ccxml

Connect Target for core 0

load the standard evmc6678l.gel file

What version of Code Composer are you using?

I cannot connect to core 0. When I try, then I get the error that I described in my previous post:

I am using Version: 5.2.1.00018.
