timer example?

I recently bought TI's evmam1707_v1 board

I have tried to port in the same manner the "timer" example but can't get it to work properly

I have also tried the systick example - looking at the TMR0ARM register it seems the timer

is being configured well and even an interrupt is happening and becoming pending

but I can't reach the timer ISR ,did you have any succeses with timers - any example will really help....
