Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDXEVM3358
Hi,
Just got my BB Black. Looks very nice. But without a JTAG, how do I do development for StarterWare? I am a SW folk and I don't want to do soldering...
Thanks

I think BeagleBone Black should have on-board usb emulator. If not it must have JTAG Header on board.
I have attached a specification doc, i hope you have that one plz go through that.
Can you check board specification from .

There is no on-bard emulator. JTAG header must be soldered just as OP said.

Fellow Users,
Just to clarify in case an RMA is ever needed:
For Sitara BeagleBoards (BeagleBone BeagleBone Black) use:
http://beagleboard.org/support/RMA
For Sitara EVMs (TMDXEVM3358, TMDXIDK3359, TMDXICE3359) use:
http://circuitco.com/wordpress/rma/
Hope this helps!
