  • Hi Vinothraj,

    As per this wiki,http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP-L138_LCDK_Linux_Software_Developer%27s_Guide#Steps_to_Boot_Linux_Using_micro-SD_card

The micro-SD card shipped with the LCDK comes with multiple partitions as shown in the following table.

    PARTITIONCONTENT
    1 Linux kernel image
2 ARMv5 LCDK Linux File System
    3 Linux and DSP SDKs

If you are looking for "how to do the partition on SD card for kernel image and filesystem and then boot omapL138 LCDK from SD, you can refer to this link: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/How_to_boot_OMAP-L138_LCDK_from_SD_card#Create_SD_card_with_2_partitions_for_Linux_kernel_and_filesystem

  • Hi Shankari,

     I used create-sdcard.sh from folder .../ti-sdk-omapl138-lcdk-01.00.00/bin.

when i executed this script file, it asks like:

    ################################################################################

    Partitioning is now done
Continue to install filesystem or select 'n' to safe exit

**Warning** Continuing will erase files any files in the partitions

    ################################################################################

Would you like to continue? [y/n] :

    Please enter y or n
Would you like to continue? [y/n] : y

Enter path where SD card tarballs were downloaded :

In ti-sdk-omapl138-lcdk-01.00.00, has no SD card tarballs.

  • Hi Vinothraj,

In ti-sdk-omapl138-lcdk-01.00.00, the filesystem tarball "omapl138-lcdk-fs.tar.gz" is present under "filesystem" folder. You can enter the appropriate path according to your installation of ti-sdk  i.e., "../../OMAP-L138-LCDK/ti-sdk-omapl138-lcdk-01.00.00/filesystem/omapl138-lcdk-fs.tar.gz"

For more details refer to http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP-L138_LCDK_Linux_Software_Developer%27s_Guide

Extracted the below info. from it.
