xorg for AM335x (BeagleBone Black)

I guess I'll duplicate my post at /Community/Forums although I understand most forums frown on this practice.

I'm getting frustrated because I've encountered places where I see TI claiming Ubuntu support in its marketing of the BBB, but it doesn't look to me like the support is fully in place.

I posted here because I was hoping that TI already had the xorg driver as part of its AM335x EVM or some other product.  I figured that if anybody knew about it surely the AM335x guys would.

Yes and yes. 

Now, I can't compile a kernel with the sources that are there. So if the solution to this problem is there in source form it will not help me. 

I'm a little more than a newbie, but not much.  I can replace files in the first partition.
