I am able to successfully send messages to that address from my other email accounts.

Perhaps an attached file is causing trouble. What is the extension of the attachments you are trying to send? How large are the attachments?

Yes. programmer folder is under ccs_5.0_examples.

Does this project not work if there is an SPI flash chip on chip select 0?

To clarify, I have an SPI NOR Flash on cs0. I choose 7, then when prompted:

ChipSelect [1=EVM,2=USB Stick], I enter 2. The output after this is:

SPI Serial Flash...
SPI Flash ID is: 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0
ERROR: Invalid programming choice

But this is a valid choice. Am I missing something here?

What hardware/board are you using? CS0 is used for C5505ezDSP with the SPI EEPROM. Also please refer to the Bootloader apps note for detail information about the requirements for 16-bit and 24-bit SPI interface.

I have a custom board with a C5535 on it. It was my understanding that the C5515 is basically the same chip but the C5535 has fewer pins spaced further away and doesn't have support for EMIF. The spi flash chip I which is connected to CS0 is a Winbond W25Q64FVSSIG, which satisfies the requirements for a 16 bit SPI EEPROM boot image location.
