I am writing a qt app to play video using phonon, on DM 8148 - EZSDK
here is a snippet of the code i have

Phonon::VideoPlayer* m_player = new Phonon::VideoPlayer(Phonon::VideoCategory, &mainWindow);
m_player->load(Phonon::MediaSource(argv[1]));
m_player->setMinimumSize(400,300);
qint64 tt = m_player->totalTime(); // returns -1
qDebug()<<"time==" <<tt;
m_player->show();

When i run the code on I am dont see any video playback happening on the widget area ,
and I am getting the following error when i run the app :

time== -1
Also note that the time returned by function totalTime() is -1
can anybody tell me what could be wrong here ?? i tried different file types line mp4/mov but i am getting same error .
please help.
