Hi Guys ,

I have install CCSv5.3 and MCSDK for Linux on Ubuntu 10.10.

I can load and run the Demos Programms provide with the MCSDK . After this I try to load my Pogramm on my TMS320C6678 Board , but I get this Error :

C66xx_0: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x8000 on Page 0 of Lenght 0x6020: (Error -1190 @ 0x8000) Unable to

access device memory . Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If erro persists, confirm configuration , power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAGS settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 5.1.114.0)

C66xx_0: GEL: /root/workspace_v5_3/projecttest/Debug/projecttest.out; Load failed .

My Board configuration is actually :

SW3 : off,on,on,on

Sw4: on,on,on,on

Sw5: on,on,on,on

Sw6: on,on,on,on

What is wrong ?

How I can change the Memory Part on the board to load my Programm ?

Check that "Project->Properties->General->RTSC->Platform" is the right one for your board, i.e. ti.platforms.evm6678.

Lopez,

There is no memory at that location. I suspect that you do not have a Linker Command File in your project and it will then start linking everything from 0. Please make sure you include the linker command file when building.

Hi Chad ,

I add this Linker Command File in my Project (C6678.cmd) but , I get this Error :

IcePick_D: Error connecting to the Target: (Error -151 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used during the connect returned bad status or an

error. The cause may one or more of: invalid emulator serial number, blank emulator EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable. Use the

xds100serial command-line utility in the `common/uscif` folder to verify the emulator can be located. (Emulation package 5.1.114.0)

I have not Idea what that mean

Lopez,

That's now changed to an emulation error. I'd suggest first power cycling the board, and then try to reconnect to the board.

Are you using a 3rd party emulator, or the on board emulation?

Hi Chad ,

After power cycling the Board and reconnect the Board on my PC , I can now load my Hello World Programm in my Board and run it .
