how to connect dc motor to c6713

I am working on final year project "PID controller for motor control using tms320c6713 dsk"

please can you tell me how to connect dc motor to dsk in detail and how to program it.

Till now i was using matlab simuling block diagram for PID controller and converting block to ccs code and running it on dsk but m not getting any idea how to control motor using simulink and how to connect it to dsk.Please help me with this.

You will need to design some hardware (H-bridge). You can use 5-6K interface card to get some signals on simple to use pin connectors.I don't think that you can get PWM signal there. Maybe you can use some MCU to interface between Serial data interface and PWM output.

No idea how to achieve this in simulink. You need to write some code and design hardware to accomplish task.

Thank you for your response..but do u have any idea exactly which daughter card can be used here.

i think the configuration would be dsk>>daughter card>>motor driver>>motor ??

Sorry but the only daughter card I am familiar with is 5-6K interface card.

so if i use this daughter card with dsk c6713 and connect it to arduino then to motor driver board, by this way can i control dc motor speed by using some code.
