Some help with code profiling.

Hi,

I am using ccs v4.2 on processor C6740. Is there a way to see while my code executes on the target, what portion of code utilizes what % of CPU time ?

I understand code coverage profiling would be answer to this. If yes, can you help me run this.

I was following the tutorial at

But this is not working for me. When i click the activate button on the 'Profile Setup' window nothing happens for me. I don't see any activities listed. This looks stupid. I must be missing something important.

Can anyone please point that out to me.

Please consider upgrading to CCSv5. Many features are improved or fixed in CCSv5, so your testing may be much easier with the latest tools.
