Hello,

I'am using the UART2 module of the C6748.

I want to check if the REVID value is correct in order to make sure I am initializing the correct module/CPU.

But I don't read what I expect: in the documentation UART2 REVID @0x01D0D028 should contain 0x11020002 but I read 0x44141102.

Am I missing something?

Hi Nicolos,

Give us the details about the C6748 you are using.

Is it C6748 EVM / C6748 LCDK or OMAP-L138 (which is having the C6748 DSP core)?

Also, kindly clarify which code you are using. Is it your custom code or TI's Properitary code?

Thank you for your reply.

It is C6748 EVM (TMS320 C6748BZCE).

It is proprietary code, but I read the same value using the "view memory" feature of CCS (through JTag).

Your findings are right. Thanks for pointing this out. The UART2 REVID at 0x01D0D028 reads the value 0x44141102h.

We will correct it in TRM.
