how test the delay time between VPFE and VPBe

i use dm6437 to capture , process and display the video. i measure the time from capturing from camera to displaying it costing 200ms, this is to long for my project, is this delay time is correct? and do you have a good way to test it and ideas to shorten it ? many thanks!!!!

Please provide details like

1. Which software you used to do this? Is it a sample code supplied from TI or your own code? Give the package details..(name etc.)

2. What is the method of measurement used? i.e., for example, is it a system clock?
