Hi,if decodes only give fclk/vsync/hsync/de signals, but not data signals, 8168 can complete discrete capture?

I think it will work, data will be considered as all 0. are you seeing any issue with that?

Hi Wen,

This depends on which driver is inserted first in the kernel, you could check the driver name associated with the video0 in the sysfs and see if it is capture driver?

so, we can use different decodes for capture one vin0 , it is not effected bye M3 fireware, M3 fireware is no limition to use capture decodes

Hi Wen,

Yes, M3 code does not depend on decoders, you could have your own decoder for VIP0 and VIP1.
