DM8148/PCIe examples?

I've got a DM8148 board and have configured it in root complex mode. I can see PCIe devices via ls /sys/bus/pci/devices.

Can somebody point me to example code or documentation that can show me how to send data via PCIe? Eventually, we'll be using the PCIe to communicate between two user space applications -- if it's possible to do this without a driver (other than the RC driver that's already in place) that would be best for me.

Anything to get me started would be much appreciated!

I don't see 'pcie'. I have only:

The PCIe example is available in EZSDK5.05.01.04 and is missing in EZSDK5.05.02.00. You can copy the pcie folder from ti-ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_05_01_04/example-applications/linux-driver-examples-psp04.04.00.01 and paste it in the same place corresponding to the 5_05_02_00 version.
