Inquiry about RTC module on AM335x

Hi,

I'd like to confirm about RTC module.

I'll use DVFS and Deepsleep0 mode but will not use RTC-only mode.

Then may I disable the RTC module of AM335x? I wonder if DVFS or Deepsleep mode is related with the RTC module.

For Deepsleep0 see AM335X TRM Rev.H, section 8.1.4.3.4 Deepsleep0: "Further power reduction can be achieved in this mode if the RTC function is not required..."

Hi Biser,

From the web-sites, I cound found some commands for controlling cpu-freq, suspend mode and stand-by mode.

For DVFS, we should use ondemand or conservative governor.

By the way, I wonder how AM335x goes to Deepsleep mode..

From the web-site, I cound find the command for deepsleep mode.

Should a user send the command manually?

I think AM335x should change its mode as DS0 mode in certain case.

Generally, how do developers implement DS0?
