If you are calling NDK stack functions from a timer’s interrupt service routine: YES, that will be a problem.  

But just having unrelated timer or other hardware interrupts happening while NDK is running is NOT an issue.

As stated in the guide: “Application programmers need to be careful not to call stack functions from threads with a priority equal to or above that of OS_TASKPRIKERN, as this could cause illegal reentrancy into the stack’s kernel functions.”

Regarding source code, yes, that is a good place to look to improve understanding.  For example, the source file “packages/ti/ndk/os/intmgmt.c” has the interrupt wrappers used for SYS/BIOS.

I use the sample cord (UDP) of NDK. I added HWI (PWM timer interrupt:HWI_INT4) to the sample cord.
