Hi All,

Could you please let me know, AIF2 example codes can be tested in the simulator? if  yes any changes to be made in the code?

    Hi,

    there are many restriction in AIF2 simulator, especially about AT. basically, AIF2 simulator only support AT, pktDMA interface and DIO engine.

    even AT, full function is not supported and there are some restriction. see the following list.

    1. only support RAD timer. UL and DL RAD timer is not supported

    2. only AT event symbol strobe option is supported. frame strobe option doesn't work.

    3. for LTE, you may see some amount of delay, so you need to wait more time than WCDMA

    4. it doesn't support any protocol stack, so neither OBSAI nor CPRI will be supported

    Sorry about these inconveniences from imperfect simulator design.

    we recommend to use it only to generate heart beat for your system and do more test with real silicon.
