Android Jelly Bean 4AJ.2.5P1 does not boot on 4430 ES2.3 GP device

Hi,

I am trying to boot Android jelly bean 4.2.5p1 release on our Blaze Board (4430) ES 2.3 GP device, which fails. After the x-loader and u-boot is loaded, the message 'uncompressing linux' appears after which the x-loader and u-boot reboots again and this process keeps repeating.

The board boots absolutely fine on the HS device.

I know that the 4.2.5p1 release only supports HS device but since our's is a GP device i want to get it working. Are there any changes on the x-loader, u-boot or anything that should be made for it to get working on the GP device? Could someone help me on this? I have attached the log for reference.

I'll try applying the patch and build the kernel and subsequently the android file system and let you know what happens.

Hi,I met the same problem. My blaze tablet board boot well after flashing 4AI.1.4-P1/4AJ.2.1/4AJ.2.2/ to eMMC.But can't boot after flashing 4AJ.2.3/4AJ.2.4/4AJ.2.5/4AJ.2.5P1,it reboot after message "Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel." appears,keeps repeating.Can your board boot well after applying the patch ?

Yes the board is able to boot after the patches were applied. You can go ahead and apply the patches.
