I have been trying to test some NOR Flash drivers I have written using the AM335x EVM.
From the daughter board schematics I assume the 16MB of memory is connected in a Non Multiplexed manner and have configured the GPMC as described in the TRM. I have also set the board profile to 3 by the appropriate DIP switches.
However whenever I try and 'write' any data to the command interface an exception occurs. Reading directly from the memory 'seems' to work and no exception is thrown however I cannot know the validity of the data read .
Do you have a set of example GPMC settings which are known to work with the NOR flash on the GP EVM board which I can try out? I am interested in settings for ASYNCHRONOUS read and write.
