We have purchased AM335X Sitara Started Kit for a project to interface ADS1118 EVM through SPI> Please has anyone worked on SPI programming on ARM Sitara using embedded Linux ? Please can anyone help in programming 'C' to communicate SPI port.

There is a StarterWare package for the AM335x processor. Please read more about it here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/StarterWare

In the StarterWare package, there is a McSPI example. There is also this page, where you will find the whole programming sequence to get the McSPI module up and running: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/StarterWare_McSPI
