After much frustration with trying to edit the demos to use the jpeg codec, I've decided to take a stab to write my own application to hopefully better understand everything and what I'm doing wrong. However, I am unable to understand how I would create my own dmai application and build it.
There's documentation on how to make a simple app here, but that doesn't help me use any of the tools included in the sdk.
Maybe this is obvious for some, but as someone completely new to davinci development, I have no idea what I'm doing. I've been trying to hack together my own makefile based on the makefiles use to compile and link the demos. I've also tried to search for this on forums, in doc folders, etc, but it just seems really odd to me that there isn't more documentation. I can only assume that I'm just missing something. I mean, not everyone is just trying to hack the demos are they?
Any input/direction/anything would be greatly appreciated.
I have the dm6467T EVM and dvsdk 3.10.00.19 installed.
