AV BIOS SDK installable location on web

Could you please let me know what exactly is your requirement? Are you looking for any SDK on EVM8148 or specifically BIOS SDK only? If yes, could you please let me know why?

BIOS SDK software is not released openly. Please contact the nearest TI sales representative for access to this software.

I am having ccs v 5.2 and EVM 8148.I am using SYS BIOS on both ARM and DSP core

Any SDK which will make IPC work on my evaluation board is fine.

Are you using any software (TI or otherwise) on the M3(s)?

Do you require the A8 to load the DSP (and possible the M3(s))?

We have a few solutions, including a SysLink-based one but your answers to the above will tailor our recommendations.

First of all thank you for your Reply.

Yes I want A8 which is running on SYS BIOS to load DSP which is also running on SYS BIOS .I also want A8 to communicate to DSP core during application execution using IPC. I came to know through TI forum  that AV BIOS SDK will solve this issue for sure.

I am using SYS BIOS on ARM and DSP core. So I believe there is no need of SYS LINK as the BIOS used in both these cores is same.

But as AV bios SDK is not present openly so is there any other SDK for EVM DM8148 provided by TI which could solve my problem.

If there is no alternative solution I will definitely seek your help using SYS LINK based solution.But is there no way that I can solve this without SYS LINK because using SYS LINK does not seem appropriate if both cores are using same BIOS(Please correct me if I am wrong).

There are some CCS based IPC examples (Notify and MessageQ) that run SYSBIOS on A8 and DSP cores that communicate with one another for TI81xx devices which includes that DM8148 device.

Hi Judah,

The examples for IPC do not compile for CCS v 5.2 for EVM 8148.I updated the IPC package the code compiled but it did not work.

So I am kind of stuck as the sample examples provided by TI do not work for EVM 8148 .Thats the reason I was asking for AV BIOS SDK or any other alternate solution.

How can i get avsdk package for evmdm8148 . I have been trying to find it for long and have contacted few Ti distributors but they could'nt manage it.
