GPU hardware acceleration isn't workable on OMAP5 ES2.0 platform

Hi,

I build and run chrome armhf version on OMAP5 ES2.0 platform.
Everything goes well except "gpu acceleration".

[Steps to reproduce the problem]
When running chrome with "enable-accelerated-compositing", the webgl web page can't be displayed correctly.
When using default option, the webgl web page can be displayed correctly and render by software.


May I know if any extra patch, driver are needed for run application with gpu acceleration on OMAP5 ES2.0 platform?
Otherwise, can you recommand some method for user to check if the gpu accelerator is functionally correctly?
If you can support some test application for gpu acceleration will be great help.

[My Environment]

- TI Software release version: 6.000007
- TI Hardware version: UEVM5432G-02-02-00

    Peggy,

    Chrome will use webGL for hardware accelerated graphics. Both chrome and webGL has not been tested on OMAP5 platform running GLSDK 6.00.00.07.

    I might suggest you to trace chrome (or its child processes) whether they are loading SGX userspace libraries or calling SGX related DRM IOCTLs.
