Hi,

I found the folder Benchmark size in the this tree ".../packages/ti/sysbios/benchmarks/doc-files/Sizes_c66

I'd like to understand the meanning of the first column of ROM.

And for the exemple of "Kernel Only" how can I get this result ?

Please refer to this similar thread that has a tar ball containing the sources and configuration files used for determining the bench mark results.

imad,

ROM simply means for sections that are not changing...Like your code, cinit, const sections.

RAM simply means for sections that do change....like stack, heap, bss

I don't have the exact sections but if you look in a *.map file you should be able to determine this.

CODE is self explanatory, CINIT is self explanatory, initialized data is .const section.

Hi Judah,

I don't think that column CODE mean a section in the *.map because in the User's Guide " TI SYS/BIOS v6.35 Real-time Operating System page 220 they said that CODE is the total size of all of the code in the final executable.
My question is " what they mean by this sentence?
