Regarding HDVICP on DM8168 platform

Hi,

We have developed our own DM8168 based hardware,

and we are using the EZSDK version 5.05.02.00.

we have developed our own application (based on the capture_encode application given by TI)

to stream the Dual Video and Audio. Now the Issue is

1.Both the channels are seems using same HDVICP H/W (HDVICP_1) -- So the Application hangs while start running the Dual Encoding with 1080i60

(application runs Dual Encoding of 1080i60 with 15 FPS but the application hangs after few hrs)

Any one has idea, why the omx component always taking the HDVICP_1 and how to select the HDVICP from the OMX application?

You can not.

Could you try with dual encoding with 1080p60.

Hello Margarita,

We have some H/W issue in 1080p60 capturing, after resolving that, we will try.

1. Is there any way to select the HDVICP from the application other than OMX.

2. Can we get the HDVICP library source from TI?
